Cloth Diapering

Here is a little sneak peak at a little project I'm working on. I love cloth diapering, but it can be expensive. I've been blessed with hand-me-down diapers, diapers as gifts, and some good deals that I have run across on ebay. But my little man is growing so fast and has out grown some of his smaller diapers and diaper covers. For frugalness(not sure if that's a word, but I'm going with it) sake I've been trying to find some more creative ways of cloth diapering. I'll post pics of the finished product. And for those of you who are interested in making your own cloth diapers on a budget(don't all of you jump at once!), here is another good sight.

Where are you finding wool?

I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm afraid that wool will be too hot for the summer, so I have some fleece that I am going to try. Much softer and not so hot. We'll see how well they absorb...
I do plan on trying with wool though, once it gets a little cooler. I'm going to get some sweaters at goodwill. or atleast that is the plan. :)

Wow! How Awesome.

I bought 3 cloth diapers when Kate was born.

Fuzzibunz. Wasn't crazy about the way they fit her in the leg. Even though they were adjustable, they either leaked or left marks on her chubby thighs!

What a great idea! I never thought of making my own. I got a sewing machine for mother's day this year, so I may give it a try too!

I don't like her sitting in disposables all day and night!
